It Working For You?

Mary is very
excited.
She just
joined the most extraordinary program online. It was
inexpensive to join and all she has to do is plug her
information into the company’s system and the company does all
the work. Mary doesn’t have to do a thing.
She’s going
to be SO rich!
Days pass,
weeks … the excitements is ebbing. The program isn’t working at
all! She did as she was told, plugged her name in the system,
submitted the site, yet nothing was happening – it just wasn’t
working, her business was not growing!
As each day
passes, Mary becomes more and more disillusioned.
Can you
relate with Mary? Do you know someone like Mary?
So what’s the
problem here? Why isn’t it working? What isn’t working? More
importantly, who isn’t working?
The fact is –
and we all know this – it will not work for you until you begin
working for it.
When you
begin Working For Your Business, then, and only then,
your business can start working for you.
I’d like to
share a few suggestions to ease you into this journey of self
realization. The realization that you do need to put forth the
right kind of effort to propel your business forward.
1. Do you
have your own domain name?
The company
you joined offers you an ‘affiliate’ site, or ‘member’ website
for you to promote. Great! However, consider this. Instead
of sending prospects to the Company website, send them to your
own personal website where they can learn about who you, the
real person is.
Share your
experience; let your prospect know why they would want to join
you in any business, let alone the one you are in. The key to
your success in your business is reaching out to your prospects
as a real person who will be here to assist them in duplicating
the process.

2.
Do you have your own contact list?
A personal
contact list is vital to your business. Access to a list of
individuals who have requested to receive information directly
from you! These are the people you are going to spend time
getting to know and who will get to know you.
You need a
constant stream of new contacts coming to you, fresh eyes and
ears to listen to what you have to say. Having a list is only
have the battle, learning to communicate with your list to
encourage response and create action is as important as having a
list to send to.
Your contacts
want to know who you are and how you are going to help them
learn to do what you are doing. The art of duplication begins
with a simple process that works.

Are you communicating with your upline?
When you
joined the program you are in, you likely joined through someone
you knew or someone who caught your attention. Is this person
helping you learn the ropes to duplicate the process to build
your own business?
Find someone
in your business who is experiencing growth and find out all you
can about what methods they are using. By making contact and
showing your willingness to actively work for your business,
your upline will be more receptive to working with you and
encouraged to actively support you.
