Junk
Mail ... friend or foe?

Pulling your hair out with all that junk mail? Give
me 10 minutes and I'l show you how to turn that junk mail into a friend and possible business associate.
This won't cost you a cent, you won't have to spend a dime, in fact, it doesn't even take a LOT of time!
Ready? Here's a little exercise you can try right now!
Open NotePad or WordPad, whichever text editor you are familiar with. To open NotePad or WordPad,
click on Start, Programs, Accessories, select NotePad or WordPad.
Copy and paste the following into your blank page:

Hello,
Thank you very much for sharing your program and
information with me, it looks very exciting.
May I ask, how long have you been with this program
and what results have you achieved to date?
I welcome the opportunity to connect and suggest
you add me to your messenger program. I use
(messenger program) and my ID is (your ID).
I have some thoughts to share with you about
improving your marketing results.
I'll watch for you on messenger or by reply email
and look forward to connecting soon.
Regards,
Your Full Name
Your street address
Your City, Prov/State,
Your Postal/Zip Code
Your Phone Number
Your email address

End Copy
Now that you have this copied into the text file, edit the email with your personal data, including
your messenger program and ID.
If you do not use messenger, simply edit the paragraph to request that the person reply via
email or even telephone.
Once you are finished with editing your personal information, save the file.
Select File, Save Name your file, 'Junk Mail Reply'
Now, the next time you receive a bit of junk mail, simply open this file, copy the email, click to
reply to your junk mail, paste the email in the body.
In the subject, type:
Thanks, appreciate the information ..
Then send your message.
What is the purpose of this exercise?
Well, it's my belief that there are some very real people online who are being taught some marketing
tactics that could be improved upon.
Don't you agree?
And a lot of the people who are sending you this 'junk mail' are very new to marketing online and
will be grateful for your advice.
If they don't respond or the email is returned undeliverable, all you have lost is 30 seconds
of your time to send.
I promise you though, you will get responses from the real people out there who need your help and
appreciate the fact that you took the time to write to them.
Most send junk mail because it's what they were taught to do.
Keep that in mind the next time an annoying bit of junk mail crosses your inbox. There could
be a shining star and a new friend behind that junk!
